What Is In The Baked Salmon Sauce

Garlic: Minced garlic gives a strong flavour to this salmon

Lemon: 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice gives the perfect citrusy flavour to this recipe.

Mustard: some people prefer using dijon, that is totally fine in this recipe I am using regular mustard.

Parsley: make sure the parsley is finely chopped.

Olive oil: I prefer using extra virgin olive oil as it is a healthier type of olive oil and gives a better flavour as well.

Marinate Or Not

You don’t have to marinate if you don’t have time for it because this baked salmon recipe already has so many flavours.

How To Make Baked Salmon With Garlic and parsley

1- Making the sauce: In a bowl, add all the ingredients except the salmon then stir until well combined.

2- Toss the salmon in the bowl and leave it in the marinade for an hour( if you have time)

3- Arrange the salmon in an ovenproof baking dish and pour all the marinade over it.

4- Baking the salmon: Bake at 210C for 15 minutes maximum, don’t overcook.

5- Garnich with some chopped parsley and lemon slices (optional).

How To Know If The Salmon Is Fully Cooked?

Salmon doesn’t take much time in cooking, use a fork to cut a piece of the salmon if it flakes easily then it is done. If it is still undercooked, put it back in the oven for another 2-3 minutes, but be careful not to overcook it.
