This shrimp salad recipe with lettuce is an easy, healthy and flavourful salad. It is made with shrimp, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and olives.
It is a low-carb meal which makes it perfect for lunch or dinner. Also, it is so tasty. My daughter hates shrimp, and it surprised me when I found her eating this chilli shrimp salad and telling me it is delicious!
What are the ingredients of this shrimp salad recipe
- Shrimps, cooked and peeled.
- Cheery tomatoes cut into halves.
- Lemon juice
- Lettuce
- Cucumber
- Green olives
- Olive oil
Spices that give a wonderful taste.
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Dry basil
- Cumin
- Garlic powder
- Red pepper flakes
How to make Shrimp Salad Recipe With Lettuce
- Firstly, chop the cucumber and the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- Then, cut tomatoes and green olives into halves.
- Add and mix all the vegetables.
- Then, add the lemon juice and the olive oil to the vegetables.
- In another bowl, mix the all the spices Kamoun, red pepper flacks, garlic powder, black pepper, salt and dry basil.
- Then, add the shrimp to the spices and mix well till it all combine.
- Now it is time to add the shrimp mixed with the spices in the top of the vegetables.
- Finally, mix the salad well, then serve.
Tips for making the chilli shrimp salad recipe:
- You can add any other vegetables you prefer to the salad like spring onions, fresh spinach or green pepper.
- I don't recommend to keep it any longer than a day because it is better to eat the chilli prawn salad fresh.
How to serve it
Serve it once it has done. You can add some ptarmigan cheese to it; that will go well. Also, you can add a bunch of chopped fresh parsley. Further, if you like mayonnaise, you can add 2 tablespoon of mayonnaise.
