How to Make Healthy Breakfast Smoothie?

    How to make this recipe

To make a smoothie just put all the ingredients in the blender and blend until having a silky and smooth mixture.

    Tips and variations

    • You can add seeds, such as chia seeds or poppy seeds, to your smoothie.
    • You can skip adding honey or sugar and enjoy the natural sweetener from the fruits.
    • Add some veggies such as spinach or kale.
    • Add a tablespoon of any nut butter you like, such as almond butter, hazelnut butter or cashew butter.
    • Use fresh or frozen fruits, whatever you have in the fridge.
    • You can replace yoghurt in these recipes with buttermilk, avocado or non-dairy yoghurt.

    Recipe FAQs

Shall I use fresh or frozen fruits?

I recommend using frozen fruits because it makes your smoothie thicken and chill. If you use fresh fruits, you can add ½ cup of ice cubes in the blender with the ingredients.

What to use to sweeten my breakfast smoothie instead of sugar?

I love using honey. However, you can also use maple syrup or Medjool dates.

What are the best smoothie toppings?

You can top your smoothie with:
    Chopped Nuts: walnuts, almond, hazelnut.
    Seeds: chia, poppy or flax.
    Whipped cream
Chocolate: grated white or dark chocolate.
Fresh Fruits: banana, blueberries or strawberries.
