How To Make Gluten Free Almond Flour Chocolate Cake
One: Preheat the oven to 180C/ 356F and line the bottom of a 20 cm springform pan or cake pan with parchment paper.
Two: In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs with an electric mixer until foamy and doubled in size, add the Sugar substitute and whisk until combined (photo 1).
Three: In a small bowl, put both the butter and chocolate then, microwave for few seconds until they melt (photo 2).
Four: Take the butter and chocolate out from the microwave and stir them well until combined (photo 3).
Five: Add the almond flour and baking powder to the beaten egg (photo 4).
Six: Finally, add the melted butter and chocolate to almond flour and egg, then stir well with spatula until combined (photo 5).
Seven: Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. Leave the cake to cool on a wire rack before releasing from the cake tin (photo 6).
Eight: Once the cake cooled, dust with some powdered erythritol and unsweetened cocoa powder.
