Notes
Use a high-speed blender, so all the ingredients come out smoother without chunks and bumps.
To achieve a sweeter taste, add a few drops of honey or maple syrup, whichever is available.
Vegan & dairy-free
: to make the recipe vegan or dairy-free, use almond milk instead of whole milk and chia seeds instead of ice cream.
Variations
Sometimes, if I don't have cinnamon at home, I add ground clove, nutmeg or ginger instead; whatever I have at home.
Substitute ice cream for Greek yoghurt or chia seeds.
Add in some fruits, such as strawberry, avocado or banana.
