This no-bake Oreo Tiramisu is a delightful take on the classic tiramisu, and it is a sweet, creamy, and delectable dessert that is quick and easy to make.
In the food processor, add Oreo cookies (reserve six cookies to use on topping), beat until finely crushed, then set aside.
18 Oreo cookies
In a small bowl, whisk whipping cream and sugar in until stiff peaks form.
¾ cup heavy whipping cream, ½ cup powdered sugar
Add espresso powder to the milk and stir until completely dissolved.
½ cup milk, 1 tablespoon instant espresso
In another bowl, beat cream cheese and vanilla extract until fluffy. Beat in espresso mixture, then fold in whipped cream.
½ teaspoon vanilla extract, 226 g cream cheese
Add the mixture into a piping bag, then pipe a small amount of the cream mixture into each 6 glasses, top with a layer of the cookie crumb mixture.
Repeat layers, then garnish with the reserved cookies.
Notes
Avoid over whipping the cream, since this may cause the tiramisu to split in half when it is finished, ruining the entire form of the dish. An over whipped whip cream creates a soggy tiramisu, something you would not like to serve to anyone, even for yourself.
When whipping the whipped cream, aim for medium-stiff peaks, this will also make it easier when you transfer the mixture into the glasses for serving.
Be mindful of the instant espresso you will add to this recipe! You would only want a mildly bitter and strong undertone taste.
Chill your dessert before serving for a better taste!
The best cream cheese to use in making this recipe is Mascarpone cheese or Philadelphia.
