Notes
You can melt the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds until it reaches a liquid consistency, or you can melt it on the stove using low to medium heat to avoid burning it.
You can make use of any cookies that you like. Oreo cookies add more sweetness to the recipe, but gluten-free biscuits also make the recipe healthier.
You can also melt your chocolate using the stove top; double broilers work best and make it easy for you to melt chocolates.
Melt chocolates when you are about to use them, this will make sure that the chocolate stays warm and is not hard when you dip the cookie balls in them.
Variations
Crushed graham crackers also work well with this recipe if you don’t have other cookies in your pantry.
You can dip the cookie balls in melted dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.
You can get creative with this, and put edible sprinkles on your mummy truffles to make them more colorful.
