Incredibly juicy rib eye steak flavored with garlic and fresh rosemary and cooked in butter. You can’t beat the smell of a juicy steak sizzling in the pan or the taste of a rich buttery steak sauce.
Wash the steaks then thoroughly pat dry with a kitchen towel.
Season the steaks with salt and ground pepper on both sides.
Place a heavy frying pan over medium heat until it is hot enough that water hisses when you flick it onto the pan, then spray the pan with light olive oil.
Cook the steaks for 2 minutes on one side, lower the heat and add the butter, rosemary and garlic to the pan.
Then, use a spoon to pour the butter, rosemary and garlic over the steaks.
Continue to cook the steaks for a further 4 minutes, or until fully cooked, continuing to use a spoon to pour over the butter, rosemary and garlic sauce. Serve!
Notes
I highly recommend taking the steak out of the fridge 20-30 minutes before cooking to allow it to come to room temperature, which helps to cook evenly.
