Wash the green beans with water, and then remove the stem end then cut into them to bite-size pieces or whatever size you prefer.
500 g green beans
Over medium heat, put the beans in a pot and cover it with water. Then bring it to boil, cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
After that, take the beans out of the water and drain them well.
In a skillet, add the butter, garlic to the beans over medium heat.

Add the lemon juice, salt and black pepper, stir. Finally, add the parmesan then get the skillet off the heat.

Don’t overcook the green beans in the boiling water for just 2-3 minutes is enough.
For best results, dry the green beans very well before sauteing them.
Replace Parmesan with cheddar cheese.
Add some fresh herbs for extra flavor, such as parsley, thyme or basil.
Cooking Green Beans Without BoilingYou may saute the green beans in a pan without boiling them first. However, You may need to sautée the green beans in a mixture of oil and butter because it will take much longer time to cook and using only butter may burn and cause a unwanted taste.Using Frozen BeansThis recipe calls for fresh green beans. If you use frozen green beans, you don't need to boil them first. Just go ahead and skip the boiling part. However, you need to thaw them out and drain well before using them.
