Chocolate Lush is a popular dessert that is made of a buttery crust layer topped with three layers of cream cheese, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream.

For the top layer:
1cupheavy cream
½cupchocolate chips. or grated chocolate
½cupchopped pecans, for topping
Instructions
Start by making the crust layer: Preheat the oven to on 180C/350F. In a bowl, combine, flour, chopped pecan, and melted butter, mix well then place the mixture in a 20x20 cm baking pan. Distribute the mixture evenly in the pan then press on the mixture using the palm of your hands.

Then, bake the crust for 10-15 minutes then allow it to cool down.
Once the crust is completely cooled, begin layering up the dessert with the creamy layers.
Making the second layer (cream cheese layer): In a small bowl, whip the cream using an electric whisk.
1 cup heavy cream
In another bowl, combine cream cheese, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar using the electric whisk until the mixture becomes fluffy.
230 g cream cheese, softened, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 cup powdered sugar
Fold the whipped cream in the cream cheese mixture, stir until combined. Spread the cream cheese mixture in an even layer on top of the crust.
Making the third layer (chocolate pudding layer): In a medium-size bowl, whisk chocolate pudding and milk until the mixture thicken. Spread the chocolate pudding carefully on top of the cream cheese layer.
Making the whipped cream layer (top layer): Whip the cream well using an electric whisk until become thick. Spread over the chocolate pudding layer.
1 cup heavy whipping cream
Topping: Sprinkle chopped pecans and chocolate chips on top of the chocolate lush.
½ cup chocolate chips. or grated chocolate, ½ cup chopped pecans, for topping
Then refrigerate the pan for 3-4 hours or overnight.
Notes
Keep this dessert in the fridge until serving.
Make sure to buy instant pudding mix, not the one that needs cooking.
You can also make this dessert with Oreo crust by using Oreo biscuits in making the crust instead of flour and pecan.
