Halloween Donuts are a simple but delectable Halloween delicacy. It is sweet, soft and rich. They are also toped with chocolate glaze. These Halloween Donuts are perfect to serve on Halloween parties.
Preheat the oven to 170c, spray 2x 6-piece donut ring tins with oil.
In a large bowl, add egg, milk, yogurt and melted coconut oil, mix until combined.
Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Spoon the batter into a piping bag, pipe the batter into each donut ring.
Bake for 12-14 minutes, Take the donut out of the oven and let it cool for 15 minutes.
Place the dark and white chocolate into separate bowls.
Microwave for 30-second or until fully melted.
Spoon the melted white chocolate into a piping bag with a narrow tip.
Dip one of the donuts into the dark chocolate, then place it on the cooling rack.
Draw 3-4 concentric circles with the piping bag onto the doughnut
Use a toothpick, drag lines from the centre of the donut to the outside, forming a spider web effect.
Repeat with the rest of the donuts.
Notes
Be mindful of the amount of baking powder and baking soda since too much of those two will make the donuts crumbly and could even make them taste a bit bitter.
Don't overwork the batter or you may not accomplish the correct texture for your Halloween Donuts.
