If you don’t want the containers to absorb the smell of the seasoning, you can use a glass container with a tight lid to store this seasoning.
After you’ve mixed all the herbs and spices, it’s a good idea to use a funnel to transfer the seasoning into the container of your choice. You could also use rolled-up parchment paper, but if you want to avoid a mess, do get your hands on a funnel.
I recommend adding a label to the jar of the date that the seasoning had been prepared. Even though this seasoning lasts very long, it’s nice to know exactly how long it did.
