Instructions
In a saucepan, whisk oat milk, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, salt and honey over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, until combined and smooth.
2 cups oat milk,
1 teaspoon honey,
1 teaspoon vanilla extract,
Pinch of salt,
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Once the mixture starts to bubble, add the chocolate and whisk until fully melted.
50 g chocolate chips
Turn off the heat and pour the oat milk hot chocolate in cups, garnish with marshmallows and a drizzle of chocolate sauce, then serve.
¼ cup marshmallows
Notes
Frequently stir the oat milk mixture in the saucepan to prevent the cocoa powder from forming lumps.
I highly recommend using good quality cocoa powder.
