Start with cutting out the tops of the green peppers and discard seeds.
Then, in a small pot, add the minced onion, beef and all the spices (salt, black pepper, ginger, cinnamon, basil). Also, add some water and leave the beef to cook.
Before the beef is fully cooked, add the tomato sauce.
After that, place the green pepper in an oven dish.
Now, stuff the green pepper with the first layer of cooked beef, then add the second layer of mozzarella cheese.
Then, third layer beef and the fourth layer mozzarella cheese.
Repeat that in the 6 green peppers.
After that, bake at 210 C for 30 minutes.
In this recipe, the peppers are a bit crunchy, but, if you like it soft, boil the peppers before stuffing.
If you prefer to add some other spices to the beef, go ahead.
To reheat stuffed green pepper:It is better to place it in a microwave-safe plate and microwave for 2 minutes. If you want to use the oven, place the green pepper in an oven dish and cover the pepper with foil, then reheat for 20 minutes.
