Sprinkle salt, pepper and paprika over the shrimp, coat well then set aside.
In boiling salted water cook the pasta according to the pack instructions then drain.
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and butter once the butter melts add the onion, cook for one minute until the onion becomes translucent, stirring occasionally.
Now, add the garlic, stir.
Add the heavy cream, water and stock cube, bring to a boil.
Add the parmesan cheese and the shrimp, lower the heat and cook for 2-3 minutes(or until the shrimp fully cooked) then turn off the heat and add the pasta, mix well then garnish with parsley.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Use chicken or beef instead of shrimp.
If you like your dish spicier, add some red pepper flacks.
Use fresh cream and grate your oven parmesan cheese for a better flavour.
