One of the best parts about Christmas is making tasty freshly baked goods, such as these delicious blondies. I totally love them because they are so adaptable. You can mix in whatever you like, so be creative. You can use more sweets like white chocolate, caramel chunks, peanut butter chunks, or even sprinkles.
What are blondies?
Blondies are a sweet dessert that favors brownies. It almost has the same ingredients except for the cocoa powder. Also, brown sugar is a must in making blondies, it can't be replaced with white sugar.
What's in these Christmas Blondies?
- Brown sugar: Gives the excellent caramelized taste to the blondies. Do not replace it with granulated white sugar.
- Flour: Use all-purpose or plain flour.
- Eggs, butter: Eggs and butter have to be in room temperature to mix well with other ingredients.
- Vanilla extract: Using a small dash of vanilla extract gives a lovely flavour.
- Yoghurt: Helps in making the blondies soft.
- Milk: I use ¼ cup of milk in this recipe to help everything to combine together well.
- Baking powder: Use it to help lifts up the blondies.
- Sweets: I used Oreos, chocolate chips, and holiday M&Ms; however, you can use anything you have in your pantry.
