This easy Eggnog cake is a pleasant, two-layer holiday cake coated with silky eggnog buttercream and white chocolate. It is my go-to recipe for Christmas!

    What Is Eggnog?

Eggnog, also known as egg milk punch, is a thick, rich, and chilled dairy-based beverage that has a sweet flavour.

It is usually made with cream, milk, whipped egg whites, sugar, and cinnamon. It tastes like sweet milk flavored with warm spices.

I love eggnog so much, and recently, I have made lots of eggnog recipes. Here are some of them Eggnog Cookies, Eggnog Bundt Cake with White Chocolate Icing and Eggnog Cheesecake.

Cut the whole eggnog cake into slices and put in plates.

    Easy Eggnog Cake Recipe

The texture and flavor of this cake are amazing. The cake is super fluffy and soft, and it has a scrumptious, sweet taste. I am sure you will love it!

The amount of eggnog I use in this recipe is 1 cup for the cake batter and 3 tablespoons for the buttercream.

Also, I forgot to add vanilla extract to the buttercream; however, it turned out so good. Feel free to add vanilla if you want.

I actually loved the buttercream flavor with eggnog better; eggnog gives it a fantastic flavor, and it also pairs so well with the white chocolate topping. It's really a delicious, elegant cake for the holiday season!
