    What's in This Recipe?

See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.

Sea Bass Filets. I use fresh sea bass filets. However, you may use any other kind of fish you like if you can't find the sea bass.

Onion and Garlic. I like to use onion and garlic in all my fish recipes for flavor.

Fresh Cilantro. Fresh cilantro is also a good aromatic for this recipe.

Lemon Juice. I use it in flavoring the sea bass fillet.

Olive Oil. Use olive oil to thoroughly incorporate all the ingredients that are needed to be mixed.

Seasonings: I use salt, black pepper, cumin, powder, and coriander powder. These are the best seasoning combo you can use in this recipe.

I also use green bell pepper and tomatoes.

How to Make Oven Baked Sea Bass Filets in Foil?

Steps of making the recipe by photos

One: Preheat the oven to 190C / 360F.

Two: Cut a large sheet of aluminium foil (bigger than your pan) and put it in the bottom of the baking pan, leaving enough of the aluminium foil to cover the filets on top.

Three: Finley chop bell pepper, tomatoes, onion, garlic and fresh cilantro.

Four: In a mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients except for the sea bass filets. Place the fish filets on the foil paper, and sprinkle them with e salt and cumin.

Five: Now, top the fish filets with the veggie mix and press lightly, then fold the foil pepper on top of the fish.

Six: Bake for 25-30 minutes. Serve warm.

Tip: Do not try to increase the heat of the oven to cook the sea bass filets in a shorter amount of time because this will only give you half-cooked burnt sea bass filets.

    How To Store It

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one day, provided that the container containing them is airtight and sealed. Before placing the leftover sea bass filets in the refrigerator, they should have at least 30 minutes to cool down at room temperature.

Heating it could potentially alter its delicate flavor, so try to avoid doing so. Freezing this dish is not advisable.

Should I Wash The Sea Bass Filets Before Cooking?

Yes. I recommend that you rinse the sea bass filets with cold running water to remove any blood residue. It is also a wise way to make sure that you will be serving clean and safe dishes.
