    These homemade Turkish meatballs are so tender and soft; they are made with beef, onion, parsley and cayenne pepper in a rich tomato sauce. The taste of these meatballs is beyond delicious I am sure this easy meatball recipe will be your go-to.

    For making The perfect juicy homemade meatballs, I prefer not to make them too big or small; medium size is best.

    The perfect Turkish meatball sauce can't be too thick or too liquidy; it must have the right consistency between both and cover the meatballs nicely.

    Ingredients
    • Minced beef
    • Spring onion
    • Onion
    • Garlic
    • Fresh ginger
    • Olive oil
    • Parsley
    • Egg
    • Tomato sauce (any kind you fancy)

    Spices

    • Salt
    • Ground black pepper
    • Cayenne pepper

    This recipe serves 6 people.

    How To Make Turkish Meatballs In Tomato Sauce

    preparing the meat: in a bowl, combine minced onion, garlic, spring onion, chopped parsley, fresh ginger, olive oil, egg, salt, ground black pepper and cayenne pepper. Stir well.

    Add the minced beef to the previous mixture and combine well.

    Shaping the meatballs: Roll the previous mixture into 20 medium-size meatballs.

    Then prepare the oven Temperatur on 210C.

    Bake the meatballs: Arrange the meatballs in an ovenproof baking tray then bake for 10 minutes on each side or until they become golden brown.

    Preparing the sauce: In a skillet, heat the tomato sauce.

    Add some salt and pepper to the tomato sauce if needed.

    Toss the meatballs in the sauce and let it simmer for 15 minutes.

    Serving: Garnish with some chopped parsley then serve.

    This simple meatball recipe can be served with spaghetti, rice, bread or with some boiled peas and green salad. If you are on a low carb diet (Keto) serve it with cauliflower rice, it will be so delicious.

    Tips For The Best-Oven Baked Meatballs

    • These are oven-baked meatballs; however, you can fry them on a skillet, using a little olive oil.
    • Be careful not to over bake the meatballs; they will be so dry.
    • You can replace the cayenne pepper with chilli flakes.
    • Leftovers of these homemade meatballs can be refrigerated or frozen easily and reheated when needed.

    • 500 g minced beef
    • 1 spring onion, minced
    • 1 onion, minced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 fresh ginger, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • ¼ cup parsley, chopped

    • 250 g tomato sauce (any kind you fancy)
