This magic cinnamon sticks recipe is so simple and easy to make. These cinnamon sticks are soft and yummy and taste and smell absolutely awesome.
These cinnamon sticks are the excellent keto low carb snacks, especially when you crave something sweet. Mozzarella cheese plays an essential roll in this recipe; also, it gives the dough a soft texture.
Low Carb Cinnamon Sticks Ingredients:
The ingredients i used in making these Keto cinnamon sticks are:
Mozzarella cheese
Sugar free maple syrup
Dry yeast
Butter
Cream cheese
Salt
Almond flour
Eggs
How To Make these Magic Cinnamon Sticks Recipe
- Firstly, add 5tbsp of slightly warm water to the dry yeast, then stir well and add the maple syrup, After mixing cover the cup and set it aside.
- In a different small bowl put mozzarella and cream cheese then microwave them for 20 seconds or until the mozzarella cheese melts.
- Add almond flour to the cheese then mix while it's still hot. Then, add the eggs, salt and melted butter; continue mixing until well combined.
- Add the dry yeast mixture to the dough and mix well.
- Cover the dough and set it aside to rest for 20 minutes while you line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Spread the dough in the baking tray then bake for 30 minutes in 210 C.
Topping:
once it's fully baked spread melted butter on its surface and sprinkle a mixture of ground cinnamon and powdered Erythritol. This recipe can also be served with whipped cream.
Tips:
- If you don't have dry yeast or don't want to use it for any reason, you can replace it with 1 tablespoon of baking powder.
- I have used a square baking tray size 22 cm.
- These cinnamon sticks are roughly 3cm thick if you like it thicker use a bigger size baking tray.
