This no-churn, super-easy keto avocado ice cream is the best sugar-free and low-carb treat ever. It is my go-to keto-friendly ice cream recipe, and it calls for only 5 ingredients.
The Best Keto Avocado Ice Cream
My avocado ice cream is super creamy and not overly sweet. With few ingredients, you can make this super delicious summer treat in less than five minutes.
Although the main ingredient in this healthy ice cream is avocado, you will never taste the avocado in it; on the contrary, it has a sweet and delicious taste which makes it so refreshing for summer or hot days.
Ingredients
See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.
- Avocados: I use 2 ripe avocados in this recipe.
- Sweetener: I prefer to use swerve sweetener.
- Heavy cream: gives this ice cream the richness; you can make this ice cream dairy-free by replacing heavy cream with full-fat coconut cream
- Almond milk: I use one cup of almond milk.
- Vanilla extract: It gives a wonderful flavour to this ice cream.
How To Make No-Churn Avocado Ice Cream
- Peel the avocados, then add it in the food processor with almond milk, vanilla extract, the sweetener and heavy cream. Mix until well incorporated, until you have a nice and smooth mixture.
- Pour the ice cream in a freezer-safe container and cover it.
- After that, put the ice cream in the freezer for at least 6 hours.
- Serve cold.
Tip: You should have a thick batter-like mixture after blending all the ingredients well.
What Are The Best Keto Topping Variations?
- Chocolate chips: lily's chocolate chips is a good keto-friendly chocolate chip option.
- Some crushed nuts such as pistachio, walnut or cashews.
- Chopped strawberries or raspberries.
- A teaspoon of my homemade keto Nutella – low-carb chocolate hazelnut spread.
- Sprinkle some cocoa powder on the top.
- Drizzle with chocolate sauce; microwave some unsweetened dark chocolate then drizzle on top.
Storage
To store it, just put it in an airtight container in the freezer until needed! It will last for 2-3 months.
