    Shrimp And Mushroom Pasta

I love cooking pasta because it makes a nice and quick dinner and I can almost add anything to it such as vegetables, chicken or beef.

I will never forget the first time I made this shrimp pasta recipe, my youngest daughter told me "mom, can you make this recipe again tomorrow!" she loved it so much.

The Chinese-style sauce is incredible; it has fresh ginger, sesame oil, garlic, soy sauce and brown sugar. Actually, the mixture of soy sauce, garlic and brown sugar takes this shrimp pasta to the top level of perfection.

This recipe is so satisfying, + it comes together in no time. Actually, this recipe is my easy way to serve fabulous Chinese-style pasta that really amazes your family.

    • Shrimp: I used pre cooked shrimps.
    • Pasta: I used spaghetti, it goes well with shrimp.
    • Olive oil: I used it to saute the veggies, you may use vegetable oil instead.
    • Veggies: I used bell pepper and carrot.
    • Mushrooms: I used button mushrooms. I whipped them with a wet towel and then sliced them.
    • Cilantro: I used fresh cilantro to garnish my dish; if you don't like cilantro, use parsley instead.

For the sauce: I used sesame oil, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, brown sugar and fresh ginger.

Note: You may replace oyster sauce with Worcestershire sauce or Hoisin Sauce.
