I love cooking pasta because it makes a nice and quick dinner and I can almost add anything to it such as vegetables, chicken or beef. I will never forget the first time I made this shrimp pasta recipe, my youngest daughter told me "mom, can you make this recipe again tomorrow!" she loved it so much.

Shrimp Pasta Ingredients

Shrimp, peeled
pasta
Olive oil
Bell pepper
Carrot, grated
Cilantro, chopped
Mushrooms, sliced
Sauce

Sesame oil
Soy sauce
Oyster sauce
Garlic, minced
Brown sugar
Fresh ginger, minced

How to make Shrimp Pasta

Preparing the sauce: Mix brown sugar, minced ginger, oyster sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil, then set aside.
Cooking the pasta: In a pot full of salted water, cook the pasta until fully cooked.
Cooking the vegetables: In a large skillet, add olive oil and all the mushrooms to cook for 1 minute then add the bell pepper, carrot and cilantro also, add half of the sauce then continue cooking for another 2 to 3 minutes.
Combine everything: Stir in the shrimp and cook for 4 more minutes.
After that, add the pasta and the other half of the sauce keep stirring for another 2 minutes. Serve hot.

- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
