My White Chocolate Latte Recipe has the perfect taste of the sweetened combination of chocolate and latte with a hint of the bitterness of the coffee. It is also super rich and creamy!

White Chocolate Latte
I must confess that I am not a fan of drinking black coffee. The bitterness of the black coffee is just too much for my taste buds to handle!
That's why I came up with this heavenly delight combination of vanilla, chocolate, milk, cream, and even instant coffee. Hence, the outcome is a perfect milky-chocolatey latte, which I totally love!
This White Chocolate Latte is so delicious either cold or hot. Personally, I prefer it hot in the morning.
In this blog post, I also provide some tips on how to prepare the latte and some suggestions for what food goes well along.
Why We Love This Recipe
The following are just some of the many reasons why this recipe is a must-try:
- The ingredients are not hard to come by.
- The step-by-step instructions are not hard to follow at all.
- It can be both a good breakfast drink and a snack.
- The ingredients do not cost that much compared to buying an actual latte from your nearest cafe.

What's in This White Chocolate Latte?
Full Fat Milk: Anyone can use any milk in the market when it comes to a homemade latte. However, I like to use full-fat milk in this recipe to achieve a creamier texture.
Heavy Cream: The creaminess in the cream balances out the bitterness of the instant coffee, resulting in a creamy, rich taste. You can use half and half if you want.
White Chocolate Chips: White chocolate chips play an essential role in this recipe since it is the base flavor of the latte. Also, they give the latte a smooth and creamy chocolatey taste to this drink.
Instant Coffee: A shot of espresso is the typical ingredient for a latte in coffee shops, but this time, instant coffee will do. It will balance the sweetness that the white chocolate and heavy cream contribute to the latte.
Vanilla extract: I like to use a teaspoon of vanilla extract because It provides a delicate flavor to the latte.
Whipped Cream: Whipped cream is the best choice for topping to achieve the whole cafe aesthetic.

Variations & Substitutions
- Change the instant coffee into espresso so that the flavor will be more of a mocha.
- If you have sweet teeth, you can add a little bit of honey to add more sweetness to your latte. For me, white chocolate makes it sweet enough.
How to Make White Chocolate Latte?

One: In a saucepan, heat milk, heavy cream and white chocolate chips; add the instant coffee and stir until the chocolate chips melt.
Two: Stir in vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into a serving cup and top with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa.
Top Tips!
- Make sure that the heat is set on medium-low so that the white chocolate won't get burned, giving a bitter taste.
- If you prefer the latte coldly, pour some ice; make sure that the ingredients have already cooled down before adding the ice cubes.
- The recipe is adjustable, so if you would like it sweeter, you can add some honey or sugar or even tone down the instant coffee.

Serving Suggestions
I love to have my latte with basic french toast for breakfast. So delicious!
At snack time, the White Chocolate Latte will go well with Mango Muffins or Chocolate Courgette Muffins.
Recipe FAQ
Almond milk is a good substitute for whole fat milk if the drinker is lactose intolerant since almond milk is lactose-free. However, almond milk won't provide a creamy texture similar to that of full-fat milk.

This latte recipe is so lovely; for me, it is even better than the latte I buy from Starbucks.
