Blackberry Cobbler is the dish I usually make when I am bored of pies or craving dessert with fresh fruits.

This easy Blackberry Cobbler a DELICIOUS summer fruit dessert. I made it with only 3 ingredients; fresh Blackberries, cake mix and butter.

This dish, with its crispy top and juicy filling, is sure to make a good brunch, breakfast, or dessert.

To make this dessert even easier for me, I used yellow Cake Mix for the topping. It consists of all the essential topping ingredients I need.

This saves me the effort of running to the store, grabbing a bunch of different ingredients.

All right. Now without any further ado, let us get to the most exciting part - getting our hands dirty.

    Blackberry Cobbler Ingredients

Here is an overview of the ingredients I used. All the measurements are on the recipe card.

Yellow Cake Mix. Any brand you like.

Fresh Blackberries. I prefer using fresh blackberries because they have a fresher flavour.

Tip: Make sure that you pat the Blackberries dry after you rinse them.

    Butter. I used unsalted butter.

How To Make Easy Blackberry Cobbler With Cake Mix?

Steps of making the recipe by photos

One: Heat the oven to 180C / 350F. Spread the fresh blackberry in a 20x22 baking dish or pan.

Two: In a mixing bowl, rub the butter into the cake mix until the crumbles form.

Tip: It is important that the butter and yellow cake mix are combined well in a crumble texture before you add the mixture to the blackberries.

Three: Now sprinkle the mixture evenly on top of the blackberry.

Four: Bake it in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown. That' it!

Tip: It is best to let the dish cool slightly before you take it out to the table to serve. This allows the juices to thicken a bit. However, do not let it cool completely as Cobbler is best eaten warm.

To Store: If there is some leftover Cobbler (which is quite surprising, by the way!), it can simply be covered and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

My hack is to use streusel coffee cake instead of yellow cake mix and add a can of drained, sliced peaches.
