- Tomato sauce
- Onion minced
- Garlic minced
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Water
- Olive oil
How to make green beans in tomato sauce?
- In a small pot put the onion, garlic and some olive oil.
- Then, stir over medium heat till the onion tender.
- Cut the green beans into small pieces.
- After that, add the green beans and the tomato sauce and stir.
- Then, add the spices and water, stir.
- After that, cover the pot and leave it to simmer until cooked.
The secret here is not letting the beans having too much or too fewer sauce.
How to serve the green beans?
Serve them with tortilla or just plain. Also, you can serve them with cooked chicken breast, thigh or even with some minced beef. Furthermore, if you are not following any low carb diet, you can serve them with rice.

How to store green beans?
Store it in an airtight container; leaving it to the next day makes them much more delicious as the green beans stay longer time in the sauce.
