This African spinach stew recipe is a flavourful, delicious and easy to make. It makes a wonderful hot dinner for cold winter days.

I have learned to cook this spinach stew from my mother, but I have twisted the recipe a little bit by adding the hot sauce to it, which add a lovely chilliness to the stew.

    Spicy Rice And Spinach Stew

This spinach stew is totally delicious on its own, but adding any chicken or meat makes it a wonderful dinner.

Spinach is my family's favourite vegetable. We add it to almost everything; even sometimes, we love to eat it raw on chicken sandwiches.

If you are Spinach lover like me try making this stew; I believe you will find it so delicious and comforting.

    African Spinach Stew Ingredients

    Ingredients
    • Fresh spinach leaves: Better than frozen spinach
    • Onion, minced
    • Garlic, minced
    • Tomato sauce
    • Rice: I prefer long grain
    • Salt and ground pepper: To taste
    • Ground coriander
    • Water or chicken stock: Chicken stock is so good with Spanish. However, if you like the stew lighter, use water
    • Butter: You can use olive oil instead
    • Hot sauce: To add a spicy flavor.
