Puff Pastry Strawberry Tarts
I love these individual desserts because unlike other desserts, these Puffs aren't even so sweet! They are also light, they can be served warm or cold, both. No hassle of reheating the leftovers!
The fact that these Strawberry Cream Cheese Puffs look and taste delightful! This makes them ideal for parties, and this is 20 minutes recipe.

Ingredients
Note: This is an overview of the ingredients. See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.
Puff Pastry. I used a pre made puff pastry.
Cream Cheese. I used Philadelphia cream cheese.
Icing Sugar. It will moderate the tanginess of the cream cheese and make it sweeter and thicker.
Fresh strawberries. I prefer to use fresh strawberries as topping to these puffs. You can substitute strawberries with any kind of berries. Just make sure that the fruit is not wet; you will end up with soggy Puffs if it is.
Tip: Don't use frozen strawberries; they won't work with this recipe. However, you can substitute fresh strawberries with strawberry jam or any jam you like.
Maple syrup (optional). I LOVE to drizzle my puffs with a few drops of maple syrup.
How To Make Puff Pastry Strawberry Tarts?

One: Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment pepper.
Two: Mix cream cheese with icing sugar and set the mixture aside.
Three: Roll out the puff pastry sheet, use a cookie cutter to cut the sheet into 12-16 shapes (depending on the size of the shape). Transfer them to the baking sheet.

Four: Use a sharp knife to make a half-inch border from the edges (don't cut through the pastry).
Five: Now spread a tablespoon of cream cheese inside the board of each one.
Pro Tip: Take care not to overstuff the puff pastries. They will end up exploding if there are too many fillings.
Six: Carefully place the chopped strawberries on top of the cream cheese.
Seven: Bake for 25-30 minutes until the Strawberry Cream Cheese Puffs turn golden brown, and the edges are puffed up. Drizzle maple syrup on top and enjoy!

Top Tips!
- If you buy frozen puff pastries from the store, make sure that you thaw them before using them.
- Refrigerate the cream cheese mixture before adding it so that it is not runny.
- Puff pastries lose their crispness over time, so they're better served fresh.
- You can add spices like cinnamon and nutmeg to the filling. This adds a hint of warm flavours to the Puffs.
Serving Suggestions
If you are eating them for breakfast, I recommend serving them alongside a steaming cup Oat Milk Hot Chocolate.
I like to enjoy warm Strawberry Cream Cheese Puffs with a drizzle of maple syrup, honey or sweetened condensed milk as dessert after a full meal. You can also top the Puffs with powdered sugar if you like.

Can I Freeze These Puff Pastry Strawberry Tarts?
Yes, you can. Just wrap them well and freeze them in a single layer on a baking sheet. You shall be good to go for up to 2 weeks. However, if you store these puffs for too long, they end up becoming soggy.
