In this recipe, you will be making the components separately. You will cook the minced beef, grill the aubergines and then combine them with tomato sauce.
Minced Beef Ingredients:
- Minced beef
- Onion
- Salt
- Ground black pepper
- Ground ginger
- Chilli powder
- Bay leaf
- Cloves
- Ground cinnamon
- Cinnamon stick

- Salt

How To Make The Aubergine Recipe With Minced Beef:
Making The Beef:
- In a small pot add the minced beef, minced onion and all the spices on medium heat.
- Then, add 2 cups of water, cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until all the liquids have reduced and the meat is fully cooked.
Grilling The Aubergines:
- Peel the aubergines then wash and drain.
- Then, spray an oven sheet with oil then place the aubergines and spray the top and bottom of each piece with oil.
- After that, bake for 20 minutes or until the aubergines cooked.
Assemble Everything:
- In a small bowl, add the tomato sauce, minced garlic, salt and pepper then stir.
- Place a layer of the grilled aubergines in an oven dish and top with some of the tomato sauce.
- Then, add a layer of the beef.
- Add some tomato sauce.
- Repeat with the remaining aubergines.
- Then, bake for 40 minutes.
- After that, garnish with some chopped parsley.
- Serve hot.
