Incredibly delicious, crunchy and flavorful. These almond flour cheese crackers are IRRESISTIBLE! I made them extra cheese and used 3 kinds of cheese: parmesan, mozzarella and cream cheese. SO easy to make and ready in just 20 minutes. They are also gluten-free, low-carb and keto-friendly.
Almond Flour Cheese Crackers
These Almond Flour Cheese Crackers are my go-to snacks for a low-carb diet. Even my daughters and husband love them too.
I used almond flour to make these crackers as an alternative to the all-purpose flour, and I also used loads of cheese, so the texture of these crackers is firm and slightly crunchy.
These crackers are also flavorful, I flavoured them with some spices that really go well together, such as Onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, chilli powder and dried basil.
One of the things I like about these low-carb Crackers is they store beautifully at room temperature or in the fridge. However, when I tried to freeze them, they turned out softer.
These crackers are not cheap; they are costly; I mean, almond flour and parmesan are expensive. Also, these crackers have a high-fat content, so I highly recommend consuming a small portion every time.
Ingredients
- Eggs: I used just 1 egg.
- Cheese: I used Mozzarella, Parmesan and cream cheese.
- Almond flour: Gluten free flour and a good substitute for wheat flour.
- Seasonings: Onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, chilli powder and dried basil.

How To Make Almond Flour Cheese Crackers
One: Preheat our oven to 200ºC/392ºF and line a large baking sheet with baking parchment. Also, prepare all the ingredients (photo 1).
Two: Mix mozzarella, parmesan and cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for one minute until the cheese is melted (photo 2).
Three: Add the almond flour and quickly stir the ingredients using a spatula until the almond flour and cheese have fully combined. Leave the batter to cool down for 2-3 minutes (photo 3 & 4).
Four: After that, add the egg, salt, and seasonings and mix to combine (photo 5 & 6 & 7).
Five: Now, put the dough between two pieces of parchment paper, and use a rolling pin to roll the dough out to a thin layer (photo 8).
Six: Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the dough into squares, then place them on a baking sheet (photo 9).
Seven: Bake for 15 minutes, flip them on the other side, and bake for 5 minutes more or until golden; allow them to cool on a cooling rack, then serve (photo 10).
Expert Tips
- If you love them extra cheesy, sprinkle them with more mozzarella or parmesan when they get out of the oven.
- For extra crispy crackers, roll the dough thinly and bake the crackers on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
Variations
- Add some fresh or dried rosemary, cayenne pepper or Italian seasoning.
- Top with some seeds, such as sesame seeds or poppy seeds.
How To Serve Gluten Free Cheese Crackers
Serve these crunchy keto crackers with Bagel Dip, Butter Bean Hummus or Caramelized Mushrooms And Onions.
You can also serve it with Mutabal, Haydari (Turkish Yogurt Dipping Sauce) or Sriracha Carrot Hummus.
