I love to make easy and fun Halloween treats, such as Halloween Truffles and Matcha Spooky Halloween Cookies, and these Halloween Spider Web takes just 20-minutes to be ready and perfect for Halloween parties for kids!
For me, Halloween is the most exciting celebration of the year! Dress-up time, trick or treat, spooky movies and Halloween desserts!
These Halloween spider web donuts are a simple and delicious Halloween treat. It is sweet, and the texture is soft and rich that each bite from a piece would definitely give anyone the satisfying yum of the donut.
I like to serve these donuts in my Halloween party at home, where friends and family are gathered for some traditional dress-up party.

What's in This Halloween Donuts Recipe?

All-purpose flour. Also called plain flour.
Greek Yogurt. The Greek yogurt will give the batter the texture that will moisten the donut and prevent it from being too dry.
Granulated Sugar. It providing sweetness to the donuts.
Milk. I use full-fat milk.
Baking Powder & Baking Soda. I use them for a light and fluffy texture.
Salt. To enhance the flavor .
Egg. I use just one egg.
Coconut Oil. I like to use melted coconut oil for a softer texture of the donuts. Replace coconut oil with melted butter if you like.
For the Glaze, I use dark chocolate, and white chocolate to make the spider web decoration.
How to Make the Best Halloween Donuts?
Before starting, preheat the oven to 170c / 340F , spray 2x 6-piece donut ring tins with oil.
One: In a large bowl, add egg, milk, yogurt and melted coconut oil, mix until combined.
Two: Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Three: Spoon the batter into a piping bag, pipe the batter into each donut ring.
Four: Bake for 13-15 minutes, Take the donut out of the oven and let it cool for 15 minutes.
Five (Make The Glaze): Place the dark and white chocolate into separate bowls. Microwave for 30-second or until fully melted.
Six: Spoon the melted white chocolate into a piping bag with a narrow tip.
Seven (Make The Spider Web decoration): Dip one of the donuts into the dark chocolate, then place it on the cooling rack.
Eight: Draw 3-4 concentric circles with the piping bag onto the doughnut
Nine: Use a toothpick, drag lines from the centre of the donut to the outside, forming a spider web effect. Repeat with the rest of the donuts.
Top Tips!
- Don't overwork the batter or you may not accomplish the correct texture for your donuts.
- You don't have to stick with this spider web decoration; you can make mummy donuts, monster donuts, vampires or spider donuts.
Variations & Substitutions
- There are so many other toppings you may add or use for your donuts. Be creative and use sprinkles, pretzel, candy, whip cream and icing to design spooky characters on top of your donuts such as monsters.

- 70 g white Chocolate , cut into small chunks
