Oven baked BBQ chicken is a delicious summer time chicken recipe that’s so easy to make. Chicken things and drumsticks marinated in a homemade BBQ sauce.
Just throw all the ingredients in the blender, blend well, toss the chicken in the sauce, and bake until it has a beautiful red colour. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.

Making the BBQ sauce:
Add garlic, Ketchup, tomato puree, white vinegar, hot sauce, BBQ seasoning, mustard powder, olive oil, granulated sugar, salt, and onion in the blender and blend well until combined.
Preparing the chicken:
Wash the chicken then drain well using a kitchen towel. Place the chicken thighs and drumsticks in an ovenproof dish then coat well with the BBQ sauce. Bake the chicken on 200C for 35-40 minutes or until fully cooked. I like to broil the chicken for extra 2 minutes to get a lovely, nice colour.
