Incredibly delicious Paprika Chicken Drumsticks flavored with olive oil, garlic and lemon juice and baked in the oven to perfection for a super easy and quick dinner!
Paprika Chicken Drumsticks
I love easy dishes like these baked chicken drumsticks because I can put them together in just a few seconds and let the oven do its magic. This dish also goes well with almost anything; I can serve it with salad, rice, roasted veggies or pasta.
Also, my daughter LOVES them so much. If you make these drumsticks, I
promise you will not ask your children to eat their chicken. They'll keep coming back for more.
I really find that the easiest and most convenient way of cooking chicken drumsticks is to bake them; just toss them in the dressing, and the oven will do the rest for you. Also, I don't like to cover them while baking just to get the crispy texture that I like.
The big star in this recipe is the smoked paprika; it gives the flavour, spice and the vibrant red colour to this drumsticks.
Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks: I used drumsticks with skin on; you may take the skin off if you prefer so.
Garlic: I used whole garlic, because noticed that minced garlic tend to get burn.
Lemon: It add a lemony flavor.
Extra virgin olive oil: you may use any oil you have on hand. It is important to give drumsticks a crispy exterior.
Seasoning: Chili flakes, ground black pepper, salt and smoked Paprika.
Note: Sweet paprika also goes well in this recipe.
How To Make Baked Paprika Chicken Drumsticks
One: Preheat the oven to 200c / 400f. Wash the chicken drumstick, then pat dry with a kitchen towel.
Tip: To get a crispy chicken drumstick, It is important to dry them well before adding them to the mixture.
Two: In the baking dish, mix garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika and chilli flakes, then toss the chicken drumstick in the mixture, and mix well.
Three: Bake for 40-45 minutes or until they golden and crispy.
Tip: To make sure the drumsticks are cooked, poke one with a fork; if the juices are clear, it's done, and if they are red, give them 10 minutes more.
Variations
- Add some vegetables to cook along with the chicken drumsticks; the vegetables will absorb the delicious sauce from the chicken and cook beautifully.
- Add some fresh herbs such as basil or parsley.

Ingredients
- 500 g chicken drumsticks
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- juice of a half lemon
- ยฝ teaspoon salt
- ยผ teaspoon ground black pepper
- pinch of chilli flakes
