I love Kimchi SO much that I could eat it at every meal. I know that Kimchi Pizza is not as popular as other pizza flavors. Yet, I assure you the taste and texture of this pizza is absolutely AMAZING!
Kimchi Pizza
This Pizza is a delicious combination of tangy kimchi, chilly sauce, and melty cheese on top of a crispy crust. YUM!
I made this pizza with a store-bought crust; it came together in under 20 minutes, saving me a lot of time. I serve it for lunch, dinner, or even as a snack.
For less complications, I use baechu kimchi. It is the most common kimchi, and the most available as well.
Let's talk about cheese; I love using mozzarella in all my pizza recipes. However, aside from mozzarella, provolone is the ideal option when it comes to melted cheeses, With its mild flavor and gooey texture.
I like to serve this dish with Malfouf salad or Coleslaw.
You'll Need
Here are all the recipes I used in making this recipe:
Pizza Crust. I used store-bought pizza crust; however, You can make a homemade pizza crust if you have time.
Sesame Oil. I cook the toppings in sesame oil for better flavor.
Chilli Sauce. I like to add chilli sauce in making the topping for a bit of spice and sauciness.
Kimchi.
Tomato Sauce. You can use pizza sauce instead.
Garlic. It makes a huge difference in cooking your toppings. It adds so much flavor.
Mozzarella Cheese. I love it because it doesn't turn oily and melts so fast.

- Stir in sugar and tomato sauce, cook for 1 minute, then lower the heat and cook for 2-3 minutes more or until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Transfer the sauce to a bowl and let it cool.
Second Step - Assemble The Pizza
- Preheat the oven to 180C / 350F.
- Press the pizza crust on the bottom of the baking pan.
- Spread the pizza sauce on top of the pizza crust.
- Scatter the kimchi evenly over the sauce.
- Finally, cover with a layer of mozzarella cheese.
Third Step - Bake The Pizza

- Bake for 5 to 10 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Slice it and enjoy!
Top Tips!
- To prevent your pizza from getting soggy, cook your toppings well until the sauce has a thicker consistency. Watery sauce creates soggy pizza crusts.
- Make sure the sauce is at room temperature before topping it in your pizza crust, or else your pizza will become too soft and will not be crisp when the baking is done.
