I prefer savoury over sweet breakfast dishes, and this Scrambled Eggs With Smoked Salmon is definitely one of my favorites. It is super easy to make, ready in just a few minutes and incredibly delicious! Creamy and fluffy scrambled eggs mixed with a little bit of salty and smoky salmon pieces. Who can resist such a tasty dish?
Smoked Salmon And Scrambled Eggs
SO simple! All you have to do is cook the eggs, add the smoked salmon, garnish with fresh parsley and serve on toast. Smoked salmon goes SO well with eggs; the taste of this dish is amazing.
I also tested this recipe with olive oil instead of butter, but I didn't love the taste so much, I actually liked the version with butter.
I also add ¼ cup of heavy cream to the eggs, which results in very creamy and fluffy scrambled eggs.
An effortless and quick breakfast or brunch recipe that pairs so well with a hot cup of tea or coffee in the morning.
I also like this dish because it offers a protein-rich breakfast, which is the best breakfast option to start my day. Never underestimate the power of a good, healthy breakfast.

Smoked salmon: I use plain cold smoked salmon, you may also use flavored smoked salmon.
Butter: I prefer unsalted. You may use olive oil instead.
Eggs: I use 8 large chicken eggs. However, you don't have to use chicken eggs; you may use duck eggs if you want.
Salt and ground black pepper: To taste.
Heavy cream: It helps in making creamy and fluffy scrambled eggs.
Fresh parsley: To garnish this dish. You can use fresh dill instead.
How To Make Scrambled Eggs With Smoked Salmon
One - Prepare the salmon: Cut the smoked salmon into small pieces using a sharp knife.
Two - Prepare the eggs: In a large bowl whisk the eggs, heavy cream salt and black pepper.
Three - Cooking the eggs: Add the butter to a hot frying pan (I recommend nonstick pan for easy cook and clean) over medium heat. When the butter melts add the egg mixture, stir with a wooden spoon or spatula.
Tip: Don't cook over high heat; to get a fluffy egg cook it over medium heat and don't overcook the eggs.
Four - Add the smoked salmon: When the egg is fully cooked turn off the heat, then add the smoked salmon and mix.
Five - Garnish: Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top. Serve hot.

- Fresh herbs: Top with chopped fresh chives or basil.
- Make it spicy: Add ¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes, chili powder or chopped chili pepper.
- Vegetables: Add some sauteed veggies such as green beans, asparagus or green onions.
