grate the onion, Zucchini, and Carrot
add ground beef, garlic, egg, Worcestershire Sauce

Transfer theme into a serving dish, garnish with some chopped parsley and serve with your favourite sauce.

    Top Tips:

    • If you prefer the rissoles a little crunchier, simply roll them in breadcrumbs before frying.
    • If your mixture is too loose, then add more breadcrumbs until you get the right texture.
    • You may use wholegrain mustard instead of Worcestershire sauce if you prefer.
    • The egg can be substituted for 1tbs chia seeds soaked in 2tbs of water.
    • You can also bake these rissoles. To bake them, spray a baking tray well with oil. Place the patties on the tray, spray the top with oil. Bake at 200C/390F for 20minutes, flip, then bake for 5minutes until golden.
    • It is easiest to shop the rissoles using wet hands, which helps bind all ingredients.
    • They should always be thoroughly cooked and should not be served raw. So, it is best to insert a skewer into the thickest part of the rissole to check if it’s ready to eat.
    • You can make the rissoles and freeze them for a month and make sure to store them in an airtight container.
    • When cooking rissoles, do not press them flat as it will cause all those delicious tasty juices to run out.
    • Don’t add too many breadcrumbs as it may dry out the mixture. Just add enough of it for the best texture.
    • Rissoles may crack open when frying; to prevent this, you may dip them in cold water before rolling them.
    • Don’t miss out on the onions and zucchini as the juiciness and extra flavour comes from them.
